Roast Defects And How To Prevent Them
Part of the process for any home coffee roaster is learning about roast defects and how to prevent them. Roast defects are an important topic for all home coffee roasters. It might not be exciting, but it is important. If you roast coffee and don't know what roast defects are, this video is for you. In this video, we will identify defects and talk about how to prevent them. Preventing roast defects will improve our roast profile and ultimately our cup of coffee. Most roast defects can be identified as soon as the beans are dropped out of the roaster. Some defects won't be noticed until you actually drink the coffee. As always, our end goal is to learn from our mistakes and grow in our hobby. If this video is helpful to you, please share it with others.
