As promised, here is a “how to” video of how to make your own simple, clean ingredients dough!

In the next few posts I will share the process of how I made pide (Turkish equivalent of a pizza) so those will include me using this exact dough. Follow along for the next video to come and read below for details on this recipe

Ingredients:
-1 cup water
-1 tbsp active yeast
-1 tbsp sugar
-3 cups flour
-1 tsp salt
-olive oil

How to: add active yeast and sugar into 1 cup of WARM water. Make sure that water is warm this is crucial for yeast to activate. Let it sit for 5-10 min.

In a larger bowl combine flour and salt. Once the yeast is ready, pour the yeast water into the bowl with flour and mix it until it’s the same texture as of your ear lobe (yea I know it’s a weird example but trust me) don’t be afraid to add more water or flour to get the perfect texture. Once the dough is good let it sit for 45 min to rise to its potential.
