Hello my lovely YouTube friends. I am so happy you are here with me today. For today’s video, I bring you all another true crime video. I found this case to be extremely important as it touches on the topic of missing and murdered Indigenous women.

UPDATE: An article that I found after recording this video states that Garret was grated limited day parole in July 2019 and day parole in June 2020. However, his day parole was suspended in April 2021 after there was concern about his “threatening presentation” towards a female staff member at his community residential facility. After being transferred to another community residential facility, in August 2021 Garret was cautioned over a concern that he was communicating with incarcerated offenders. In November 2021, Garret was brought back into custody after reporting to his parole officer that an argument with his girlfriend turned physical, resulting in Garret grabbing her phone from her. After Garret took responsibility for the incident and ended the relationship, he was granted release to an Indigenous Healing Lodge, which was decided in January 2022. Based on these facts, I think it’s safe to say that Garret’s behavior has yet to change and his release is an injustice to Destiny!
