‘I Am Very, Very Concerned About All Of You And This Whole Country,’ Dr. Phil Tells Viewers

COVID-19 has changed life for the world.

“I’ve been watching what is happening, and I am very, very concerned about all of you and about this whole country,” Dr. Phil says on Tuesday’s episode.

Per the CDC’s guidelines, which Dr. Phil takes very seriously, he has shut down taping in studio with guests and is recording alone in his “man cave,” with guests joining via video conference and his crew working remotely.

“I just couldn’t sit home and do nothing when I see what’s going on out here,” he says to viewers, explaining that he feels a sense of duty to keep them informed and offer mental health advice. “I owe it to you; I owe it to the country to talk about what the world’s experts, the top people in immunology and infectious disease, have shared with me, what I’ve learned, what I know and what I see.”

In the video above, Dr. Phil explains that he believes the coronavirus pandemic is the “biggest mental, emotional crisis that this nation has faced since 9/11.”
