Troubleshoot my Hyundai Veracruz BlueConnect - it will not stay on for "SETUP" to pair my phone? 2 of 2 - save $600
My 2009 Hyundai Veracruz has this powerful BlueConnect for hands free calling speaker system. It has served me well when driving and talking without holding the phone. It stopped working over the last couple years but never bother to troubleshoot it until recently. The activation/call button worked 1 out of 10 times and "SETUP" function blue light would not stay on/lit. The blue light shut off after 2 seconds, so there is a loose connection somewhere or the button is stuck. Also, the activation/call button seems to be loosened or has a loose connection or the circuit board has a loose connection somewhere. Fixed it finally after I tore it down to troubleshoot. Didn't buy any parts, just unstuck the "activation/call button". Must have allen wrench (hex key wrench) or star shape torque T24 wrench to do this job. Tools may look expensive, but the earlier you buy them the more you save. I typically get my tool money back in money saved from 1 or 2 DIY projects. So, buy with confidence. It is a necessity to save money and make money to have the right tools.
