John Mew and his son Larry will spend three days hauling themselves up 60,060 West Stand steps at Kingston Park - the equivalent of going from sea level to the summit of Mount Everest. And is if that wasn't hard enough, John will be carrying a 25lb bergen.

Raising funds for My Name'5 Doddie and the Newcastle Rugby Foundation, the challenge takes place on August 20-22, subject to government restrictions allowing it at that time.
