2025 Porsche Macan 4S Unveiled: Driving Experience, Interior & Exterior Highlights, and Pricing

Описание к видео 2025 Porsche Macan 4S Unveiled: Driving Experience, Interior & Exterior Highlights, and Pricing

When Porsche revealed the all-electric version of its popular compact crossover earlier this year, the Macan EV initially came in two variants: the 402-horsepower Macan 4 and the high-performance 630-horsepower Macan Turbo. Now, Porsche is expanding the lineup with two new versions: a rear-wheel-drive base model and a powerful Macan 4S, which slots between the Macan 4 and Macan Turbo.

The new entry-level model uses the same battery with a 95.0-kWh usable capacity but feeds a single motor on the rear axle. This motor, the same as the one found in the all-wheel-drive Macan 4, produces 335 horsepower. With launch control, an overboost function increases output to 355 horsepower, and torque reaches 415 pound-feet. Porsche claims this base model will accelerate to 60 mph in 5.4 seconds and has a top speed of 136 mph. Without front-wheel drive, the rear-wheel-drive Macan EV is 243 pounds lighter than the Macan 4.

The Macan 4S features a new rear-mounted motor paired with the same front-axle motor as the Macan 4 and Turbo. Combined, the 4S generates 442 horsepower, with a brief boost raising it to 509 horsepower. Launch control allows for a maximum of 578 pound-feet of torque. According to Porsche, the 4S can sprint to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds, with a top speed of 149 mph.

Both the rear-wheel-drive Macan and the 4S come standard with adaptive air suspension and adaptive dampers via the Porsche Active Suspension Management system. Rear-wheel steering is optional for both, while the 4S can also be equipped with Porsche's torque vectoring system.

Porsche has also announced new design options for the Macan EV, available later this year. A new color, Slate Grey Neo, and a new 20-inch wheel design have been added. Additionally, a new off-road design package is available for all electric Macans. This package includes a restyled bumper to improve the approach angle to 17.5 degrees, increased ground clearance by an extra four-tenths of an inch in the standard air suspension setting, and Vesuvius Grey or body-colored front bumper, side skirts, diffuser panels, and roof railings. A set of 21-inch off-road wheels in matching grey is also offered.

Both new variants are available for order now, with deliveries targeted for the fourth quarter of this year. The entry-level 2025 Macan will start at $77,295—approximately $3000 less than the Macan 4—while the Macan 4S will be priced at $86,895.

Thank you for joining us today. Until next time, keep chasing your dreams, embrace the thrill of the road, and drive safe.
