Eye contact is one of the most important cues for human communication and social interaction. Appropriate eye contact is known to foster connection, demonstrate sincerity, and projects self-esteem, assertiveness and confidence.

A recurring finding is that gazing eyes grab and hold our attention, which can help boost your charisma and magnetism.

Also, meeting someone’s gaze almost immediately engages a raft of brain processes, making you appear more likeable, attractive, attentive and memorable.

So during conversations, in meetings, or during interactions with coworkers or clients, remember to use eye contact.

When it comes to virtual settings, you can simulate eye contact by looking directly into the camera when you speak. It makes a difference!
