Caltrain Afternoon Rush Mixed Fleet Action At South San Francisco

Today marks the very last day of regular diesel service as Caltrain transitions to 100% electric service north of San Jose starting tomorrow. For about a month and a half, as the transition to a fully electric fleet took place, Caltrain has been running a 50/50 mixed fleet of diesel trains and electric trains. In this video, we get a good variety of trains passing through this station, including some express trains passing at high speed! Enjoy the last moments of these hardworking diesel trains before they retire or get restricted to services south of San Jose!
