Bricked DME ? Transmission Flash Failed. Bootmod3 BMW M4 F82 / F80 / F83 S55 (this might help ! )

I use BM3 and I updated my tune and it updated with no problem. When I went to flash my transmission it failed and kept failing. Turns out I had to connect my Battery charger to the battery directly instead of using the terminals under the hood.

I made this video because it could be a common problem. I did find a few online posts about it but the solution was never updated. So here’s my experience and what I did.

Shout out to BM3 tech support they helped out a lot and replied quick! ( within 30mins ). They did help a lot in pointing me in the right direction when I already thought I bricked the DME.

Hope this helps anyone with this experience out!

I also forgot to mention that I disconnected my battery for 10 minutes. Before connecting the battery charger directly to it.
