During the May 30 Financial Issues Forum virtual event, which was hosted by the Gabelli School of Business Gabelli Center for Global Security Analysis, the Museum of American Finance, and the CFA Society New York, Michael Gatto, partner at Silver Point Capital and a beloved adjunct professor at the Gabelli School of Business, discussed his new book "The Credit Investor's Handbook: Leveraged Loans, High Yield Bonds and Distressed Debt," with Paul Johnson, the executive director of the Gabelli Center for Global Security Analysis. Following the content of the book, the pair focused on Gatto’s approach that breaks down analyzing making a loan to a company into seven large steps, and how each step is executed.
