“A Whole New World” - A Magical Disney Songbook Hong Kong Disneyland (Feb 10th, 2018)

There was something going on over the Pavilion, the former location of the Nightmare Experiment and Frozen Village. This event is only for platinum and gold magic access members, a show called “A Whole New World” - A Magical Disney Songbook. The songbook is special for featuring some of the Disney characters that seldom appear in the park, only even hasn’t existed yet (Moana I mean!)! I really love the show for being so motivational. The music is very catchy, especially that part of the Tigger Song. Being one of the fastest Disney songs, the wonderful thing about Tiggers really catches your eyes and ears. Also, some of my favourite characters including Nick Wilde, Judy Hopps and Moana also appeared. Unpopular characters like Aurora and Pocahontas also make their appearance! That freaked me out! I also found out some surprising facts about this performance, that it is a live band, in which the music was played by band members. There are also sections that encourage us to dance along! Though it’s hard to dance while holding my camera, it’s still fun. Hong Kong Disneyland’s magic access events always give the annual passholders the best and most unique experiences. They might show it again in one of the magic access parties in either spring or summer. There must be at least one, as you know, Hong Kong Disneyland needs to make sure their magic access members had fun in order to continue their membership. If there is one magic access party any time soon, I think this show may be shown again, just like last time’s Royal Princess Music Celebration. That show was shown in May, but I missed it as to prepare for my exam. Luckily, they have the show performed again in the summer party in June. Same situation may happen to this show, too. So stay tuned!
