If you find sewing the bunting flags into the bias binding tricky, there is an easier way, just a little longer.
Instead of sandwiching the flags between the bias binding, before ironing the bias in half, you can pin the flags in place, half way in to the width of the bias then sew. You would then iron the bias in half and sew all the way along again sewing down the top half of the bias. I hope this makes sense, pease ask if it doesn't.
