Easy DIY Giant Fireworks | Affordable Yard Decor for the 4th of July

I’m sharing one of my favorite creative projects: making oversized DIY yard decor. This time, I’m turning concrete pillar forms into giant 4th of July fireworks. This easy and affordable craft is perfect if you want to make a bold statement without spending a ton of money.

I used a jigsaw to cut the concrete forms down to staggered heights, then sealed the tops with duct tape. Instead of paint or fabric, I wrapped them using budget-friendly plastic tablecloths and more duct tape—simple and quick. You could totally customize this project in so many ways.

To finish them off, I added fun tassels, pompoms, and Cricut-cut stars to give them that firework sparkle. These would be perfect for front porch decorations, backyard parties, or holiday photo ops.

The only problem is… I don’t really have a front porch. Just a small tunnel and sidewalk. So I’d love your ideas on where to display them. Let me know in the comments where you’d put them, or if you’ve ever made oversized holiday decor too.
