I tried to embrace the concept of limitation by pairing down my photography carry to just one lens and went out to the woods at sunset. With only my 45mm F/1.8 - a lens I use so infrequently I can count the number of hours it's been on my camera on one hand.

The whole idea was to make me think more about what I was photographing and, hopefully, select better compositions because I had fewer options for composing.

This is an absolutely fine idea - it should work. Perhaps I spent too much time worrying about it rather than embracing it. You'll have to watch to find out.
