Trailer and premiere event promotional video for "Strange Froots OnRotation", a video documentary based on the CJLO 1690AM 2016 radio special, recorded during the group's artistic residency with the station. Watch as they recount band memories and discuss life as students, working girls and artists, while members of their communities discuss the state of hip-hop in Montreal and the greater culture.
Join us during the Lux Magna festival on January 27th for the premiere of the documentary, as well as a discussion panel featuring Annick MF, Yosoji Nobodi, Rebecca Joachim and Leela Riddle-Merritte, facilitated by Patricia Petit Liang.
