Reviewing Progress: The Global Learning Agenda on Expanded Method Choice for Adolescents and Youth

This video is a recording of a virtual workshop that was held to review progress on the global learning agenda for expanded contraceptive method choice for adolescents and youth. The Global Learning Agenda on Expanded Method Choice for Adolescents and Youth was developed in 2018 through a participatory process engaging stakeholders from organizations, UN agencies, donors, and youth. The Global Learning Agenda prioritized evidence and measurement needs to improve access to and use of an expanded range of contraceptive methods for adolescents and youth.

Six years later, this virtual workshop reviewed what progress has been made against the 6 priority learning questions. Findings from scoping reviews for each of the 6 priority questions were presented, and participants reflected on what questions have been sufficiently answered and what questions in the Global Learning Agenda remain important to take forward. This workshop is the first step in a process to develop an updated Global Learning Agenda on Adolescent Contraception Access and Choice.
