Tony Sarg's Sea Monster with Michael Harrison

Описание к видео Tony Sarg's Sea Monster with Michael Harrison

Learn more about the appearance of a sea monster on Nantucket’s very own South Beach in 1937. Although Sarg left his mark on Nantucket history in many ways, his sea monster hoax in particular showed his whimsical presence in the community.

This talk is part of the Nantucket Historical Association's Summer of Sarg Lecture Series and complements the Tony Sarg: Genius at Play exhibition at the Nantucket Whaling Museum. Learn more about the exhibition open through 2024 at https://nha.org/whats-on/exhibitions/....
