The second video compilation of another stretch of SWR line between KSR Bengaluru City Junction and Mangaluru Junction Overnight Express, before it fades away with electric tractions (between Soldevanahalli Halt and Padil) and I finally managed to experience the same. I had to book my tickets online and my actual coach was S-5, but purposely sat at front to enjoy the Jet engine sounds of an EMD. I was more than a happy to sit in a full front coach, right next to the engine/diesel locomotive till Sakaleshpur 😍. So, Big thanks to the IRCTC online ticketing services 🙏

On board 15 coach long KSR Bengaluru - Kannur Express (via Kunigal, Hassan Jn, Mangaluru Central) Special powered by its customary link, the old EMD based diesel locomotive from Diesel Loco Shed KRISHNARAJAPURAM, Namma SWR's "KJM WDP 4 20037" in a Long Hood Forward (LHF) Mode with shrill LHF horn sets.

I somehow managed to record almost 03.00 Hrs out of 10.00 Hrs full journey covering a total distance of 363Kms with 10 Halts, starting from Yesvantpur Jn, Kunigal, B G Nagar, Shravanabelagola, Channarayapatna, Hassan Jn, Sakaleshpur, Subrahmanya Road, Kabaka Puttur and Bantawala. Small Stations in between and some of the crossing trains are captioned in the video itself, both in English and Kannada languages. Namma SWR's KJM WDP 4 20054 powered 07301 Mysuru Jn - Dharwad Express Special at Hassan Jn can also be seen.

Enjoy another FULL JOURNEY video compilations of pure EMD 4000 HP Sounds, Continuous ear-splitting LHF horns amidst the Monsoon landscapes of Shiradi Ghats section starting from Sakaleshpur till Subrahmanya Road, another part of Western Ghats (heavier rainfall in Karnataka State, One State Many Worlds).

Video shot from my newbie "Go Pro Hero 9" in the midst of continuous rainfall at 2.7K, along with the 'Zoom H1N' handy recorder which gives the ultimate sound clarity in mp3 format (320kbps). 56 clips were recorded in total with the final mega size of around 80 GB and post processed in 4K 50fps using Filmora Software.
