IRAN - The Wonderland!
These Armenian monasteries are among the oldest in the world:

- Saint Thaddeus Monastery
- Saint Stepanos Monastery
- Chapel of Zdorzdor (the monastery destroyed )

The Armenian monasteries of Iran collectively get the "World Heritage Site" designation not only because they are historic, but the unique Armenian architectural and decorative traditions you'll see in the structures of these churches is a combination of interchange (wars, or friendly relations ) between the regional cultures and powers, which make them distinct from any others.

These ancient times regional cultures include:
- The Roman Byzantine
- Orthodox
- Persian
- Assyrian
- Islamic

The World Heritage Organization cites:
"SAINT THADDEUS APOSTLE MONASTERY HAS BEEN A PILGRIMAGE SITE FOR THE PAST
