No visit to the historic town of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico would be complete without a guided tour of its top taco and tequila restaurants and venues. Luckily, our Inspirato host Jorge hooked us up with local gurus (Alma and her brother David) who dragged us all around the city center to experience top tacos, street tacos, tacos al pastor, fried grasshoppers, authentic mole, enchiladas, and enough tequila and mezcal shots and cocktails to make us forget half the evening :) Luckily, we got it all on video. In addition to the food and beverages, we got enough education on the city to make the previous day's official historic tour seem pretty redundant—just do the taco tour and you get two for the price of one!
