Bintangs is one of the oldest Dutch pop groups founded in 1961 by Frank (bass guitar, vocals). The name means ‘stars’ in Indonesian1. They played indorock but soon switched to a rough kind of rhythm & blues. They are still active and were inducted into the Dutch Blues Hall of Fame in 2019.
