From Elton John's 1995 album "Made in England," which was actually written and recorded in 1994. After the success of "The Lion King" it was decided to delay the release of the album until 1995. "Believe" was the last song written for the album and was chosen to be the title song, but Elton changed his mind at the last minute. He felt that as an album title, it sounded too mystical. In late 1994 Elton started performing the song live, before it's official release and even announced that his next album was entitled "Believe." Like most of the album, the song has a very intentional reflection of John Lennon and The Beatles.

"Believe" was released as a single, before the album came out, and this version is the single edit, which left out the segue into the next track on the album "Made in England."
