On April 15, 2024, in Edmond, Oklahoma, officers responded to a 911 call reporting that a child had fallen from a moving vehicle. Body-worn camera footage shows police confronting the child’s mother, Andrea Sarabia, who, according to officers, exhibited signs of intoxication and refused field sobriety tests. Sarabia was arrested on suspicion of DUI and child endangerment; her children were placed with DHS. Police said the girl who fell from the car was okay.
