Today, we came to the vineyards near the Pyrenees in France to find the top snail in France: Burgundy snail. Because Burgundy snails love to eat grapes and grape leaves, they are easy to find in the vineyards. France eats nearly 6,000 tons of snails each year, and there are two types of snail species that are generally eaten, Burgundy snails and small gray snails, with the former being more expensive because they are extremely difficult to breed.
