Harrison Dressler is a fourth-year arts student at UNB, completing an honours degree in history and political science. Harrison has a passion for studying late modern labour history and the multifaceted ways in which imperialism has impacted our lives today, with his work being published in magazines and blogs, such as UNB’s own Atlantic Loyalist Connections. His talk, titled “Intellectual Property is Destroying Our Creativity”, will explore historically what it means to be creative and how our creativity is harmed in today’s society. Hailing from Moncton, New Brunswick, Harrison is a fourth-year arts student at UNB, completing an honours degree in history and political science. He has a passion for studying late modern labour history and the multifaceted ways in which imperialism has impacted our lives today. Harrison’s work has been published in magazines and blogs, including as a recurring contributor to UNB’s own Atlantic Loyalist Connections.
