The annual Georgian Day event occurs the last Saturday in November. Georgian Day in Armagh is a feel good family event which runs from 10am until 6.30pm with an extensive schedule of activities throughout the day for the whole family. Everyone is encouraged in the city to get into the spirit of this event and to dress up in the period costumes.

For Christmas shopping Georgian Day is an opportunity to avail of the retail promotional discounts which will run on this day only. There is also the chance to purchase from the market stalls located in Market Square which offers an array of stunning crafts and food to excite the Christmas shopper seeking that special gift. Throughout the day street theatrics will be at the forefront of the activities with Georgian characters walking through the city, local school children performing street theatre and Living History characters will be giving guided walking tours at various times.
