I studied English Literature at the University of York from 2017-2020, and I’m now doing a masters in Medieval Literature. I loved studying English at the University of York because I had the chance to read a huge variety of novels, plays & poems. I read 91 books. I hated some, and loved others. Remember: it’s okay to not like certain books (even the big, famous classics that “everyone” loves)!

Hopefully this video will encourage you to study English Literature, and motivate you to find the area of literature that you are passionate about!
