P1345 Chevy 5.7L-PART 1- Cam/ Crank Correlation

This is a video for the trouble code P1345 (cam shaft to crankshaft correlation issue). When you have this code you need a scan tool that will show you the CMP (camshaft) RETARD ° reading. You need to be able to see this reading in order to set it at 0 + or - 2 degrees.

MAKE SURE ONCE YOU CHANGE THE DISTRIBUTOR POSITION, YOU REV THE ENGINE UP PAST 1000 RPM IN ORDER FOR THE READING TO REPOPULATE.
