Powex Extinguisher Home Fire Facts - 2000

Around the early 2000's there was an attempt to revolutionise the domestic fire extinguisher with the Powex - an extinguisher operated by releasing spring tension to eject the extinguishing fluid which was a Wet Chemical (Potassium Acetate/Potassium Citrate) solution primarily to tackle Class F (Class K in countries using UL standards) fires in cooking oils by saponification as well as Class A fires in solids.
