the song composed for the occasion is called Sleeping Beauties, featuring Colin Stetson.

the visual part is the result of gigantic work, a wall of over 200 meters, a real metamorphosis film whose frames are imprinted in the plaster of a decadent building. The video is made by simply photographing the frames and bringing them back into natural motion.

“Two abandoned military buildings, about 200 meters of long ruined walls were the canvas for the work to be painted. They looked as an empty shell, something that was and it's not anymore. The rhythm and dynamics of body in movement was the starting point for me. A dancing body as a confirmation of life energy, the ability to change, adopt, overcame, grow, create. Eron had the idea of birds, evolving from the surface of the walls, as from the oil, a resurrection of a living form. So we worked on a narrative line, a metamorphosis from birds to people and then back to a bird flying away. The stylistic difference in our techniques is actually not that different since we both think and paint in terms of light and shadow, so the metamorphosis from one technique into another was organic and natural. The final sequence is like a frozen movie, a gigantic carousel of images, a zoetrope that keeps turning around over and over.”
