But rehab isn’t always a straight line. After four months of hard work, the pain in my knee wouldn’t go away. A second MRI showed the meniscus never healed.

Hearing that was crushing. I took second and third opinions, but in the end, I returned to St. Moritz for another surgery. The meniscus had to be stitched again. Yes it means starting the rehab almost from zero again...

It’s tough to face that lost time. Still, this is part of recovery: setbacks, doubts, and restarts. If you’re in a similar place, whether it’s ACL rehab, meniscus surgery, or any setback, know you’re not alone.

I’m still chasing that flow. I’m still chasing Olympics Cortina 2026.
