1. Waxing burns and pulls the skin making the area darker and pores larger. Opt for laser hair reduction or shave. These processes are more gentle on the skin and in my personal experience, they improve the texture with time. However, one must note that every skin and body responds to a treatment differently. I’d strongly suggest you do your research on these treatments before deciding to opt for them.

2. Moisturizing your underarms is very important. You can use a gentle body lotion. Creams with lactic acid and niacinamide are ideal. Please don’t expect any creams to completely transform your underarms but they do help maintain them. I’m using @bemiracules pro bright cream.

3. Deodorant sprays have alcohol that irritate the skin. Use mild roll ons. Fragrance free rolls ons fight odor causing bacteria and soothe the skin. I’m using @chemistatplay.official underarm roll on.

4. Do not rub your underarms aggressively with exfoliants or harsh soaps. Always use a gentle body wash to clean the area.

Please remember that underarms are an area that have friction throughout the day. As a result of this, the area will be darker that the rest of the skin and that’s completely okay. These methods will not transform your skin because every skin and body is unique in its own way. But the treatments can make sure it doesn’t worsen because of external factors.
