Sunflower Industry Investment: Harvesting and Oil Manufacturing | Pallegney Farm | FS 22 | ep #07

Welcome back to the Pallegney Farm Timelapse. We begin our day by heading to our cannery to sell our finished product: canned potato soup. After replenishing our budget, we decided to invest in the sunflower industry. We allocated most of the funds to purchasing a large sunflower field. Additionally, we bought a new sunflower and corn header for our combine and delivered it to the field. Our Case IH 2388 combine and CLAAS ARION 660 tractor with two trailers also arrived on site.
We transport the harvested sunflower crop to our own oil mill for processing. Once part of the crop is harvested, we bring a CASE IH MX Magnum Series tractor with a mulcher to the field and assign a hired worker to remove the remaining sunflower stalks.
After harvesting from our field is complete, we move the combine harvester and other vehicles to the neighboring field to begin sunflower harvesting under a contract.
