Shooting With Ilford SFX 200

Infrared film - something that up until recently, I had no experience with shooting or experimenting with.

Enter ILFORD SFX 200

This film stock - engineered specifically for red sensitivity - is a great alternative to more popular stocks like Tri-X or HP5. Designed for photographers who are looking to get really creative with the look and feel of their photographs. Paired with a red filter, the effects can be quite dramatic...resulting in high contrast photos.

In this video, I discuss my overall experience with shooting Ilford SFX 200 as well as some considerations to keep in mind if you're looking to experiment with B&W or infrared film stocks.

Full disclosure...I am no expert in infrared photography. Just here to share my overall thoughts and reflections.
