The film was realized within the ARTNOUVEAU2 project, as one of the five educational films. All films have been translated to native languages of all partners.

Short description:
The short film Secession Bratislava_Dawn of Modernism presents the architectural image of Bratislava around 1900. The city became a kind of symbolic crosswords or both receding and fresh architectural currents and styles, which produced several works of exceptional architectural value echoing the Viennese and Hungarian Secession movements. So what is the story of the Secession in the city that was becoming a modern Danube metropolis? And who were among its main protagonists besides renowned architects Otto Wagner and Ödön Lechner? This is the story our educational video aims to tell the younger generation and anybody looking to learn more about the architectural heritage of Art Nouveau in the Danube region.
