The Journal of Dairy Science has selected the article, “Short communication: A reproductive tract scoring system to manage fertility in lactating dairy cows” as Editor’s Choice for July. The article is based on the research of Charlie Young, then PhD student and ETREC Dairy farm manager, and was edited by Professor Lannett Edwards. Animal Science department head Neal Schrick chaired the project; in this interview, he explains the research and its impact on dairy producers.
