An Overview of the steps to set up for a truFreeze procedure:

1. Complete routine exam to confirm no contraindications to Spray Cryotherapy.
2. Confirm the GEJ location and associated measurement at the bite block/incisors.
3. Complete Scope/Guidewire Exchange.
4. Insert the CDT (lubrication optional) over guidewire and confirm GEJ measurement at the bite block/incisors.
5. Place optional distal attachment cap on end of the scope.
6. Re-Intubate Patient with the scope to confirm CDT black bands are properly aligned and secure CDT in place.
7. Identify first treatment area.
8. Scan (Yellow tag-to-Yellow tag on side of console).
9. Plug in the catheter to the truFreeze console.
10. Insert the catheter through the introducer that has been placed in the accessory channel of the endoscope. Turn on Defrost and console suction as you thread the catheter through the endoscope and into the patient
11. Re-Initiate the Cool function to ensure the truFreeze console is ready.
12. Please try and avoid using “Scope Suction” during the entire procedure
