It has many of the same ergonomic features as the popular model 8 and this model is also very popular with keen gardeners and professionals.
Also known as the Felco 6 compact, this model is designed for users with a small to medium sized hand.

You have the iconic red grips, synonymous with Felco and their swiss heritage. The bright colour makes them easy to spot should you accidently drop them.

The Felco 6 is robust and lightweight, with solid forged aluminium handles and hardened steel blades. Unless you lose them, you can expect a single pair of Felco Secateurs to last you a lifetime. All parts can be replaced, this includes the blades, spring and the screws. Great news if like us you don't like waste.

The cutting capacity on the Felco model 6 reflects its size and is 20mm, more than enough for most pruning jobs but 5mm less than what you'd find on our best-selling models, the Felco 2 or the model 8.

The cutting action is bypass for a precise and clean cut.

To protect the tool from unnecessary blunting or damage you have a small notch at the base of the cutting blade, this is ideal for snipping through wire.
For your comfort the handles are curved to fit neatly into your hand and the combination of a spring with rubber shock absorbers help to reduce muscle fatigue when making lots of cuts throughout the day.

For safety you have a thumb catch, to unlock for use simply slide down toward yourself using just the tip of your thumb. To lock for storage, push the thumb catch away from you. These are now safe to be holstered.

The total weight of these secateurs is just 210g and they measure less than 20cm in length.
