Another Believer || Magneto and Quicksilver (edit/animatic)

As soon as I heard this song I knew it was made for our favourite father and son, and I had such a blast combining both editing and animation to make this edit/animatic (edi-matic? XD)!!! As always, the party was for you ‪@sunsetuniverse11‬ and my other besties who encouraged me along the way, and we can all thank Mother Soup for the suggestion of combining the mediums! Hopefully you enjoy watching it as much as I did making it! :D

Story explaination:
After breaking Magneto out of the Pentagon and watching as that very same man would go on to expose mutants to the entire world on live television just a few days later, Peter Maximoff is finally told the truth of his family history. Mournfully, his mother explains to Peter how she and Erik had first met, as well as the little sister - Anya - that Peter had never had the chance to meet before she was killed in a housefire. His mother gives him a family photo of the father and sister he never knew, which he holds onto for the many years he would go on searching for Erik.
One exploding mansion and a detour to Alkali Base later, Peter finally comes face to face with the man he has been chasing after for so long and finds the courage to reveal their connection before it's too late. Erik - spiralling in the grief of losing his wife and daughter - grows furious, thinking that the speedster is playing games with him, and drags him into the magnetic field to demand an explanation. What Peter gives him instead is a familiar photograph, the realisation that not all have children have been stolen from him, and most importantly, hope.
And without hesitation, Erik turns against Apocalypse and leads the X-Men to a swift victory, saving not only the world, but most importantly his son.
