Diane Schuler and the 2009 Taconic State Parkway Crash

Today, we discuss the Taconic Parkway accident that left 8 people without their lives. Diane Schuler, a mother of two, was driving her brothers van with her 3 nieces’.

The Fatal accident would leave America and countries around the world wondering what series of events could have led to such a tragic accident.

When the autopsy results would come back, it would show that Diane had been over twice the legal alcohol limit, however, the controversy starts when Dianes remaining family does not believe the autopsy.

What exactly happened on July 26th, 2009? Why did Diane drink to such excess? Was there a medical event that caused all of this?
