I got a laser bore sight to sight in my new Bushnell rifle scope without firing a shot.

The P2M laser boresight fits right into the breech and looks like a .308 caliber rifle round.

Out of the box you are probably going to have to run to town and get some batteries because they are generally corroded and no good. I did just that and got a mess of batteries for $1.29 at a local clearance store. Dollar stores carry these bulk packs too.

Once I had some working batteries it was a breeze to sight in my new scope.

Put the batteries into the bore sight and close the cap on the back end. Then carefully, without looking at the laser, insert it into your rifle barrel. You do not have to close the bolt in order for this to work.

Next simple line up the laser on a target at 25 yards range and then dial in your scope cross hairs so that the center of the reticle covers the laser. You are done.

The next step is to test fire your rifle to make sure things lined up nicely. And then take it to the range and dial in your scope for the distance you are going to be shooting at.

It is that simple.
