Mycelial Cords is a forward thinking musical act that blends EDM with hip-hop. His music can be best described as a struggle between what is familiar and what is unknown. Music that you recognize but there's still a lot to explore.

I love hip-hop. Kool Keith, Drake, Aesop Rock, Kendrick Lamar, Hoodlum, JPEGMAFIA, Scallops Hotel, Shabazz Palaces... If it slaps it slaps. My aim is to combine all these influences and forge something fresh. It doesn't matter whether it's trap, boom bap, drill, afrotrap, phonk, lo-fi. My beats will feature unconventional harmonies, heavy use of synths, mangled samples and unorthodox structures. Let's make something fresh!
