Mercury Meltdown Revolution [Full OST]

Описание к видео Mercury Meltdown Revolution [Full OST]

Am I the first to do this? C'mon, it's 2015, someone had to have done this by now.

Here it is, ripped straight from the game in 320kbps mp3. So, this was a daunting task because the files on the disk were in *.ADPCM format, which aren't acknowledged anywhere on the internet. So, by trial and error and some wonky research, I figured out for myself that renaming the file extensions to *.DSP allowed Foobar2000 (with the VGMStream component) to recognize and play them. There were -R and -L files for each song, but they played back exactly the same and have 2 channels each, so I just used the -R files for my rip. I really don't know why they exist like that.

DIY! (first 2 steps optional with the aid of piracy...)
1. Hack your Wii. Use this:    • How to hack your Wii in 3 minutes   (thanks to C&M for a great and quick guide).
2. Use the Wii app CleanRip to get the ISO from your game disk (or pirate it, but I actually own the game, so let's not break the law).
3. Open the ISO with WiiScrubber, find the folder with the music inside partition 0, data, audio, bg. Right click, extract, and save the .ADPCM files one by one. The R and L files seem to be the same, so you can save just the R's or L's or whatever combination pleases you.
4. Rename them all to .DSP. Using ren in command prompt might help you if you're lazy and tech-savvy.
5. Download Foobar2000 and its VGMStream component, and make sure to open and install the component before playing any files.
6. Open the songs with Foobar2000 and right click / convert them to WMA because I don't feel like going through the process of mp3 conversion with LAME.
7. Be informed of the fact that the files don't loop themselves, so you have to do that manually in an audio editor. I used Audacity to copy part of the beginning and paste it at the end with the Fade Out effect.
8. Do what you like with your now-compatible audio files, and have a fantastic day!
