A massive fire has erupted at one of the Middle East’s most important energy hubs. A drone strike has hit a facility inside Abu Dhabi’s Ruwais Industrial Complex, sending flames and smoke rising from the site. The attack comes as the wider conflict involving Iran, Israel, and the United States continues to spread across the Gulf.

And now, one of the UAE’s most critical oil and petrochemical centers has become the latest target.

According to official statements from the Abu Dhabi Media Office, a drone struck a facility within the Ruwais Industrial Complex on March 10, 2026, triggering a large fire. Emergency response teams were immediately deployed to the scene.

Authorities say crews are actively working to contain the blaze.
