Fola Adeola and Gbenga Agboola :The Interview Episode 1 Journeys in Entrepreneurship

We’re very excited to have, on the first episode of our “Journeys in Entrepreneurship” series is Fola Adeola.

Fola is a serial entrepreneur, private investor and philanthropist. He is also the Founder and Pioneer Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Guaranty Trust Bank, also known as GTB.

The bank commenced operations in 1991 and has grown to become one of Nigeria’s most respected, profitable and service-focused banks.

Fola also founded FATE Foundation in 2000 with a mission to foster wealth creation in Nigeria through entrepreneurship.

Interviewing Fola on today’s episode is Gbenga Agboola. Gbenga is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Flutterwave which was founded in 2016 with a vision to make it easy for Africans to make and accept payments from anywhere in the world. The day before the recording of this podcast, Flutterwave announced that it has raised a series-b round of 35 million dollars.
