The blower motor in my daughter's Chevy Cruze would often not operate unless she beat on the dash to get it to start.
Eventually it often would not even operate at all.

I confirmed there was voltage to the motor.
Disassembled the motor to check it out and found they used crappy sleeve bearings which had lost their oil in the same fashion that a Goodman would.
The armature commutator was also trashed.

I installed a new after market motor from the local parts supply.
The quality only looks so-so. So hope it lasts. :-/
