As wedding filmmakers and photographers we know how important it is to not only capture the day properly, but then to also take every precautionary step to store and backup that footage. It's of utmost importance to learn how to store, organize, and archive all of your wedding video footage. It can be tricky to figure out just how you want that file storage system to work but it's one of the most important things you'll do for your business as a wedding videographer or wedding photographer.

This file storage process has developed over time with use but in it's current form it has worked great to give us peace of mind knowing that all of the photo and video we take is safely stored and backed up both locally and off site.

Media management for wedding videos especially is so important as it's mostly once in a lifetime shots you'll be storing. So, in this video I go over the best way to go about backing up your footage, and my storage workflow.
