❤️ In India, we now talk endlessly about increasing divorce rates, changing gender norms, difficult relationships, marriage, desire, shame, consent, intimacy, and trauma — but we still don’t have dedicated sex therapy retreats led by qualified mental health professionals on a consistent basis.
Not “healing festivals,” not “tantra tourism,” not “energy workshops.” Actual, grounded, evidence-based, trauma-informed sex therapy held by trained clinicians.
For years, people have been asking me where they can go for a safe, confidential, structured space to heal their bodies, nervous systems, and sexual stories.
💕A space that isn’t performative. 🩷A space without spiritual bypassing, without sketchy facilitators, and without the pressure to perform sexuality in the name of “liberation.”
The truth is: India doesn’t offer this fully yet. We have therapy conferences. We have spiritual retreats. We have wellness weekends. But nothing that truly integrates somatic trauma work, attachment repair, cultural deconditioning, relationship skills, and sexual healing with the depth and dignity it deserves long-term with medical professionals on-board.
That’s why I started building this work, slowly, carefully, with ethics at the centre. So we held last year’s depth-oriented Conscious Sexuality Sex Therapy Retreat at Sohum Yoga Resort, Goa and we continue to lead retreats from an Indian-lens all across the world.
Because sexual trauma and its healing is not an aesthetic.
Sexual healing is not entertainment.
Intimacy work requires clinical knowledge, a regulated therapeutic framework, and a space where people can be messy, vulnerable, and honest — without being judged, objectified, or sensationalised.
There is a massive need in India for safe containers where people can explore their pleasure, boundaries, body memories, and relationship patterns with professional guidance.
And this is just the beginning.
If India can talk about gender, consent, safety, and trauma — then India is ready for real sex therapy spaces held by qualified professionals. See you soon at one of our spaces!
