British vs. American Musketry 1862 - The Enfield Cartridge

A rather droll, definitely unbiased, and completely scientific comparison to accompany some of the lengthy historical discussions we’ve had about historical musketry.

A brief demonstration of the comparative cartridge systems for the average infantryman of the British and Union Forces circa 1862 to demonstrate how the individual soldier fired in each army respectively.

It is hoped that those Americans definitively partial to the Minie ball will forgive our humble jest.
